Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Richard Allen Zahner III!
Megan Elizabeth Sayler and Richard Allen Zahner III were married on June 1st at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott William Sayler of Our Town. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Anthony Zarda of Shawnee and Mr. and Mrs. John William Sayler, Jr., of Our Town. Her groom is the son of Cynthia Zahner of Roeland Park and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Zahner, Jr., of Nashville, Tennessee. He is the grandson of Mrs. Ross Eugene Shipley of Hoxie, Kansas, and the late Mr. Shipley and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Zahner of Leawood.
On the evening prior, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Zahner, Jr., hosted a rehearsal dinner at Brio Tuscan Grille. Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Scott William Sayler hosted a lovely reception at Mission Hills Country Club. Alison Sayler, sister of the bride; served as the maid of honor. Sara Zahner, sister of the groom; Emilee Weltner, Caroline DeGoler, Megan Turner, Katie Drisko, Anne Slaughter, Keller Blincoe, and Taylor Pierce were bridesmaids. Joseph Zahner, brother of the groom; served as the best man. David Zahner, brother of the groom; Bryan Sayler and Jack Sayler, brothers of the bride; Brandon Budd, Adam Sparks, Patrick Kohnle, Brett Condie, and Bryant Condie were groomsmen. The happy couple enjoyed a honeymoon in John’s Island, Florida, and are at home in Prairie Village. Megan is a teacher at Prairie Elementary School, and Richard is employed by Thomas McGee, L.C.
