KU Alumni Association – The Rock Chalk Ball

The 22nd edition of The Rock Chalk Ball was held on April 29th. The event, hosted by the KU Alumni Association’s Greater Kansas City Network, took place at the Overland Park Convention Center. Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little and Shade Keys Little served as honorary chairmen, and Jason Booker and Sasha Boulware were the co-chairmen. This year’s theme was “Masters of Tradition,” (a nod to professional golf’s legendary tournament), and many of the more than 760 guests arrived in golf-inspired attire. The evening featured a tribute to Chancellor Gray-Little, who is stepping down as of June 30th. Proceeds benefit the Alumni Association’s legacy relations program and the Student Alumni Association.
