The University of Kansas Hospital – Girls’ Night In
February 21st marked the seventh annual Girls’ Night In, and Portfolio Kitchen and Home in the historic Pershing Building was the perfect setting for a night of cooking and conversation. Guests, adorned in red, moved from kitchen to kitchen to watch four premier chefs from Our Town in action. Four community leaders served as “sous chefs” and competed in a fundraising battle. The evening’s winner, Frank Ross, Jr., earned the most votes and was crowned winner. Funds raised at the event benefited A Change of Heart, The University of Kansas Hospital’s women’s heart health program.
